Join local Photographer and Naturalist, Dara Carleton, on a walk along the West River to observe a historically active bald eagle nesting site. Depending on recent activity, we may have the opportunity to observe both adult and young eagles. Dara and a Nature Museum Educator will be on hand to answer questions and discuss further nature wonders that we encounter on the walk. Photographers are welcome! Dara will share her knowledge and experience for those interested in wildlife photography.
Presenter Bio:
Dara Carleton is an award-winning Wildlife Photographer based in Brookline, Vermont. She has a passion for wildlife, particularly for Bald Eagles. This passion guides much of her work and art. She has exhibited her photographs locally for many years. Dara is the owner of Vermont Wildlife Gifts, teaches bald eagle lectures, leads walking tours of a local bald eagle nesting site, is a vendor at various local/regional art fairs and farmers markets, and sells her wares in several southern Vermont stores. In the warm months, she enjoys kayaking the Connecticut River.
