Registration and Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy for Cancellations: We understand that plans change!  Because we are a small nonprofit, cancellations can make it more challenging for us to manage program enrollment.  Our policy strikes a balance between flexibility and predictability:  

  • We can offer refunds for most cancellation requests 2 weeks before the event date (less a $5 processing fee).  For cancellations 2 weeks or closer to the event, we can only issue a refund if we’re able to fill the space from a waiting list.  If you need to cancel for reasons of financial hardship or other extenuating circumstances, please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate your situation. 

  • For children’s camps:

    If you must cancel your participation in a Nature Museum Camp, please contact us as soon as possible. 

    • Cancellations one month (4 weeks) prior to the beginning of camp will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee.  

    • Cancellations less than one month (4 weeks) prior to the beginning of camp will receive a refund (less fee) ONLY if we are able to fill the space from the waiting list.

    The Nature Museum may schedule ahead of time make up days for certain camps (Such as winter camps) if there is a camp day cancellation. Refunds cannot be made for a camper's inability to attend a make up day.

  • The Nature Museum reserves the right to cancel a program at any time.  If we cancel a program after you purchase a ticket, we will issue a full refund.
