Brave Bears Winter Camp, Monday Session

Brave Bears Winter Camp For kids ages 6-9

$30 per day; $50 for both Monday and Tuesday Sessions. Scholarships available upon request.

Cold and snow often keep us inside for much of the winter, but the snow and cold make for special opportunities to learn, play, and discover outdoors! Winter Brave Bears Camp aims to provide hands-on and fun experiences that connect campers with the natural world during this special season. Campers will spend most of their day outdoors immersed in a winter world! Snowshoeing, animal tracking, campfire safety, snow-play, and museum exploration are all in store for this camp.
Campers should be sure to wear appropriate winter clothing/gear, and have extra clothing just in case! Note that we will be spending some time around a campfire and clothes will get smokey.

Campers should also bring snacks, a hearty bagged lunch, and a water bottle that can be carried by them in a backpack. Campers should bring snowshoes if they have them. If your camper needs to borrow snowshoes, please indicate this on their registration and be sure to include their shoe size.
In case of hazardous weather, this program will be rescheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

If you have any questions, please contact us directly at 802-843-2111 or email Jay at jay@nature-museum.org. Scholarships are available upon request.

Campers and their caregiver will get free admission to the book reading event by Author Erin Rounds on Monday, February 17, 2020 OR Thursday, February 20, 2020.
