Love all living things? Connect with the critters and creatures that live around The Nature Museum. This week, campers will discover birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals by weaving through the woods, meandering around the meadows and playing around the pond. Your Brave Bears will have fun with games, crafts and great outdoor activities. We will also examine some of The Nature Museum's animal artifacts, so there's no need to hunt for a better way for your Brave Bear to spend the week!
On July 23, special guest Michael Clough will introduce us to some live animals from the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum. Since receiving his B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Biology from Long Island University’s Southampton College, Mike has worked with some of the Northeast's premiere conservation and environmental education groups to create live animal experiences for the public. His many programs have included a wide range of animals including birds of prey, wolves, frogs, pythons, and more.
Youth should bring a hearty bagged lunch, water bottle, & appropriate, warm clothes.
