Summer Wanderings With The Fairy Fest In Mind!

We need your help!

If you've attended our Fairy House Festival in the past, you'll know that there are opportunities at the festival for festival-goers to leave their own mark in the gardens and natural areas around the museum. We have a range of exciting building materials set out on the lawn for participants to select from to get in the spirit and build something!

We ask our Nature Museum community to think of us on summer hikes and walks through the woods or other natural areas. Please gather any natural items that you see that you think would be a good fit for our fairy objectives.

Think feathers, dry grasses, leaves, sticks, pebbles, shells, bark from a fallen tree, milkweed, nuts, dried seed pods, acorns, berries, gourds, pinecones. You may drop off your fairy house building supplies at The Nature Museum anytime or email our director Carrie King to arrange a time for pick up.

We appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Happy summer wanderings! And we'll see you September 24th-25th!
