Join the Nature Museum on Monday, April 8th between 12 and 5 to celebrate and view this awe-inspiring celestial event with eclipse craft-making, eclipse pop-up programming, and safe viewing glasses! Museum Educators will be on-hand to share the science basics of solar eclipses along with context about other common eclipse history, myth, and lore.
Safety-certified solar eclipse glasses will be available (first come, first served). Feeling creative? We’ll have celestial craft-making activities for adults and kids alike.
The museum's indoor exhibits, grounds, and playscape will be open for exploration and play. The next significant solar eclipse won’t occur until August 2044! We hope that you’ll join us to experience this truly special event.
