Pride Outside: A Hike for Queer-Identifying Folks

  • 186 Townshend Road Grafton, VT, 05146 United States (map)

Celebrate Pride Month by getting outside!  Join director Nikolas Katrick for a wandering hike open to all queer-identifying and LGBTQ+ folks.  We will be exploring the Turner Hill Wildlife Management Area and the trails near the Turner Homestead, which was the home of the escaped and freed slaves Alec and Sally Turner (and the first stop on the Vermont African American Heritage Trail).

Registration for the event is free.  If you have the means, you can donate to The Nature Museum during registration, but we also ask you to consider donating to Out in the Open, a local organization that helps connect rural LGBTQ people to build community, visibility, knowledge, and power.  Find out more about them here: https://www.weareoutintheopen.org/
