Nature & Books Winter Discussion Series on Zoom
Wednesday, March 24, 6-7:30pm, Vesper Flights by Helen MacDonald
We culminate our series in March, as the sap begins to rise and the natural world catches the attention more forcefully again, with the essays in Vesper Flights by Helen MacDonald: “She notices things, the magic and the wonder and the consolation of nature, and she mines what those things have to teach us about being better humans and stewards of this planet. Her exquisite prose will get you to pay attention too.”
The library has multiple copies of the books, available to participants, first come, first served, while supplies last. Books are loaned on a monthly basis, not for the entire winter series, although it may be possible to renew a title after you borrow it.
Discussion questions, book guides and loaned books are available upon registration for each session.
