Salamander Sky: A Reading and Q&A with Author Katy Farber

Date: Saturday, March 3, 2018
Time: 1:00pm-2:30pm
Ages: All ages
Cost: By donation
Location: The Nature Museum

This event will include a reading of Katy Farber's book Salamander Skyinteractive slides, and a discussion about the creative writing process, citizen science and activism. All centered around salamanders!! This is an all ages event, but may be of particular interest to children in grades K-5 as the book follows the adventure of one girl who wants to help spotted salamanders.

What do you know about salamanders? Are you at the ready to help them on their "Big Night"? View our recent blog post about salamander activity at the start of spring plus watch a book trailer for Farber's book.

This reading and Q & A kicks off at 1:00PM. Earlier in the day, at 10AM, we'll be running our family-friendly March Kindred Spirits program. You are welcome to join us for both! The museum will be open until 4; make a day of it! We appreciate your RSVP so that we can prepare our seating.
