Mighty Acorns Club: Fantastic Fall — Falling Temperatures, Leaves, Apples, and More!

Date: Friday, October 13, 2017
Time: 10:00am-11:30am
Ages: 3 to 5 years old + caregiver
Cost: $5 per child if registered in advance; Drop In: $8 per child. Caregivers always free.
Location: The Nature Museum

Fall is a time of change and bounty in northern New England. Apples harvested, pumpkins are big and orange, days become shorter, nights become cool and crisp, and fields are left to rest. Change and bounty exists not in just the farm fields, gardens, and orchards but also in the natural meadows and forests. Come learn about why fall is a special time for the many plants, animals, and humans who call northern New England home. Try some apple cider, learn about what fall means for critters and plants, and go on a nature scavenger hunt to see fall with new eyes!

This preschool club meets inside the museum here in Grafton and explores the outdoors on a variety of adventures to field, forest and pond throughout the 90-minute hands-on program. Children should be dressed for spending some of this time outside.

Drops-ins are welcome! Preregistration is encouraged but is not required. We hope you will join us this Friday!
