When the temperature drops, snow covers the ground and food becomes hard to find animals must work extra hard to survive this harsh season. Do they migrate, hibernate or stay awake during winter? Lots of hands-on items, time with one of The Nature Museum’s wonderful naturalists and a craft will teach you all about how animals have adapted to survive our cold Vermont winters.
Our hour-long library programs are free and open to the public. Programs include hands-on items, stories and craft. They are aimed at younger children but all ages welcome to attend.
