During this program our Mighty Acorns will learn all about what bears eat, where they live, and how they survive in winter. Does your bear cub like blueberries? So do bears! Time outside along with a story and hands-on items will teach your child all about this very important Vermont mammal.
This preschool club meets inside the Museum and explores the outdoors on a variety of adventures to field, forest and pond throughout the 90-minute hands-on program. Children should be dressed for spending some of this time outside.
Drops-ins are welcome! Preregistration is encouraged but is not required. The Nature Museum has a limited number of snowshoes available for children to borrow. Please contact Kimberly O'Connor, kimberly@nature-museum.org, to reserve a pair.
Can you join us for several Mighty Acorns sessions this winter and spring?
Sign up for multiple sessions at one time; it's quick and convenient!
